Accessible Guest Rooms
A new build hotel, City Inn Birmingham is DDA compliant and has 14 guestrooms with full wheelchair accessibility.Accessible, wheelchair friendly rooms at Birmingham have been designed to the highest specifications and include:
- Lowered beds for easy transfer from a wheelchair to the bed
- Wide doorways
- Sufficient floor space to manoeuvre
- Panic buttons and pull cords throughout
- Fully accessible bathrooms, including roll-in showers, higher sinks to allow a wheelchair underneath, grab rails and pull cords
Throughout the hotel, additional accessibility features include:
- Accessible toilets in public areas
- Accessible car parking directly below the hotel
- Lifts to all floors
- Refuge zones on stairways
