City Inn runs a changing programme of art exhibitions across our 5 UK cities. Exhibitions are set within the public spaces of the hotels and open to view 24 hours a day. Each exhibition is curated by Hotel Art Curator, Meredith Gunderson.
"At a time when the papers duly report an endless stream of dismal news on our economic and social fronts, pleasant pauses from daily life are becoming increasingly sought after. From an indulgent holiday, a rest on a bench, a chat with a child or a stroke of a cat - we are choosing to invest in breaks , pauses and retreats to help us face the days ahead. This is of course healthy and called for, yet not enough if we truly want a brighter future. A better future will only come if we adopt new approaches - if we change."
