Head Chef Matt Lord has over ten years culinary experience, having previously trained at the Michelin starred Arkle Restaurant at the Chester Grosvenor and The Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath.Matt's most recent post before joining City Café was as Head Chef at Hunstrete House Hotel.
On joining City Café in December 2008 Matt said: "It's great to join the City Inn team, I look forward to continuing the high standards our hotel and restaurant guests expect of City Café. Working alongside my team we enjoy creating dishes using the best local and seasonal ingredients to put on our weekly Market Menu. Our recent award from the AA of 2 rosettes will only motivate my team and I hope to make City Café the best place to dine in Bristol"
