The 2008 festival includes music stages, a dance stage, street theatre and water displays, all taking place before a backdrop of hundreds of colourful vessels in the floating Harbour throughout the weekend.
Saturday Night Fireworks are one of the most exciting highlights of the festival, and this year's show is set to be one of the best ever, with a pyrotechnic experience never seen before. Using the features of the former Industrial Museum and the cranes, the evening promises to be one of thunderous noise and dazzling beauty.
