Printmaking is the modern and commercial process of reproducing artists' prints. Rather than handmade impressions printmaking utilises mechanical processes to replicate artists' impressions and produce a number of identical editions. A few print methods include etching/intaligo, stone and plate lithography, relief painting and photography.
Glasgow Print Studio promotes Scottish art and artists through collaboration with major national and international touring exhibitions. City Inn is an keen supporter of the arts and is delighted to present a selection of prints from this well established print studio.
