City Inn Leeds: Open 24 hours a day.City Inn presents a new exhibition, 'Artist in Residence' commissioned by the hotel from Bradford photographic artist Giuseppe Lambertino.
Curated by Yvonne Carmichael and on display throughout the public spaces of the hotel, Lambertino's stunning photographs were shot behind the scenes at the hotel and around Granary Wharf. They offer a rare chance to see the nuts and bolts of local industrial landmarks, the inner technical workings of the hotel and an often visually deceptive perspective of well known views across the city and canal. Through striking photography, these practical features and standard vistas become radiant and arresting, a testament to how the ordinary can be truly beautiful. This exhibition is part of the wider City Inn Arts and Culture Programme which includes professionally curated changing exhibitions of visual art across the hotel group.
