City Inn is delighted to present REDGREEN a unique contemporary Christmas tree designed by students from Chelsea College of Art and Design.The Christmas Tree commission is now in its fourth year. As well as giving guests something truly unique and innovative to look at over the Christmas period it also gives the students invaluable real life experience of delivering a project to a corporate client - from pitching the idea, sourcing materials, working to budget and finally installation.
Each year City Inn invites students from the Interior Design course at Chelsea College to design and install their interpretation of a Christmas tree.
Students on the course are invited to present to a panel of judges including City Inn staff, journalists and the hotel's interior designers. The winning design is then selected based on criteria including quality of materials and design innovation.
This year's winning tree was designed by Anoushka Myers and Caroline Hoyle.
