Join the near million spectators that flock to the streets each year to watch and support the marathon runners from street corners and the city's impressive variety of pubs, making the event not just a marathon, but also a 26.2 mile long street party.
Fast and flat, the Flora London Marathon course runs on both the south and north sides of the River Thames after crossing the famous Tower Bridge.
From the start marathon runners pass a number of interesting and famous London landmarks and areas, including Greenwich, Blackheath, Buckingham Palace,Tower of London, London eye and the 140-year-old clipper ship, Cutty Sark.
City Inn Westminster, offers the perfect location from which to walk to various locations on the course to watch the marathon.
