Flora London Marathon

Join the near million spectators that flock to the streets each year to watch and support the marathon runners from street corners and the city's impressive variety of pubs, making the event not just a marathon, but also a 26.2 mile long street party.
Fast and flat, the Flora London Marathon course runs in parts along the River Thames on both the south north side, after crossing the famous Tower Bridge. From the start marathoners pass a number of interesting and famous London landmarks and areas, including Greenwich, Blackheath, Buckingham Palace,Tower of London, London eye and the 140-year-old clipper ship, Cutty Sark. An historical jog around London for the runners… if not for the sheer distance.
