Turner Prize 2007 moves to Tate Liverpool. Meanwhile Tate Britain revists keyworks from winning and shortlisted artists in Turner Prize Retrospective.

The Turner Prize travels across England and stops at Tate Liverpool  for its 2007 exhibition. The Turner Prize will run from 19 October 2007 until 13 January 2008.

For 2007 Tate Britain will be exploring the history of the Turner Prize in a display of key works from winning and shortlisted artists throughout the past years.

The Turner Prize has played a role in documenting the ever-changing visual arts scene and this is an exciting opportunity to wonder back to weird and wonderful artwork that has shocked and held our admiration. The exhibition will present a chronological selection of key works shown over the twenty-three years and reflect upon significant moments in the history of British contemporary art.

Winning artists have included Richard Deacon, Lucian Freud, Damien Hirst, Howard Hodgkin, Steve McQueen, Malcolm Morley, Gillian Wearing and Rachel Whiteread.
