The Manchester Jazz festival brings you nearly 60 bands, at 10 venues, with events at all times of the day and week, indoors and out.
2008 highlights include several UK debuts of Italian and Spanish artists; a newly-commissioned suite for string orchestra by guitarist Mike Walker, featuring the clarinet virtuoso Iain Dixon and US drummer Adam Nussbaum; a late-night Jazz-Vespers concert in St Ann's Church…
